GETTING STARTEDHormone Replacement Therapy

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR PATIENTS CONSIDERING NATURAL BIOIDENTICAL HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY

If you are a high risk patient (history of blood clots or cancer, smoker, etc.) or have not had a current mammogram within the last 12 months, this may cause a delay in making a recommendation for you. Stark Pharmacy will discuss these issues with you and/or your doctor prior to requesting lab work or scheduling a consult. At that time, we can determine how to proceed.

Getting Started on Natural Hormone Therapy

  • Therapy requires a prescription. Speak to your current physician to see if he or she is open to bioidentical hormone therapy.
  • Please fill out the hormone questionnaire.
  • If your physician approves therapy, have them order the necessary labs listed below. Your physician can then contact us.
  • Stark Pharmacy provides free consultation services to help you determine the benefits of an ongoing hormone management program. This program allows us to evaluate by means of a completed patient history form and personal or phone consultation. Call Stark Pharmacy at 913-345-3800 to schedule a free consultation to review labs and questionnaire.
  • Once the consult is completed, we will then be able to recommend a treatment plan.
