Call and schedule an appointment for CDC-recommended immunizations at your local Stark Pharmacy! We have all the vaccines you need, all in one place.
It's never too early to begin thinking about flu season. Does your place of business have excessive absences due to the flu? Do your employees find it inconvenient to go to the doctor or pharmacy to get a flu shot? Stark Pharmacy has the answer to your problems. We will come to your place of business, within the Greater Kansas City area, and administer flu shots for your employees at no cost to your business. Any employee who would like to get a flu shot can get a flu shot. We will bill the employee’s insurance (collect any copay the employee needs to pay), or bill cash if not covered, administer vaccination, and counsel the patient.
Stark Pharmacy’s vaccination specialist has been certified by the American Pharmacist Association. We only use the Quadrivalent Vaccines, which offer the most flu protection in the industry. This vaccine contains the 4 most prevalent strains of flu expected to be seen in our country during the upcoming flu season. Sometimes the vaccine developers slightly miss their mark on which vaccines will affect us each year but a yearly flu vaccine is still the best protection we have versus the flu virus.
In order to make this program a success for both your business and us, we need to start early. Stark Pharmacy is already pre-booking flu vaccine appointments for next fall and needs to know quantities of vaccine quickly so we can guarantee delivery in time for proper administration between October and December. If you would like to participate in this program, please contact us quickly and have an estimate of how many people we would be vaccinating because we have a limited number of days open to schedule clinics. It will be first-come, first-served on scheduling clinic days.
Stark Pharmacy would love to be your partner in helping your business eliminate the flu bug and eliminate unnecessary work absenteeism. Give us a call at 913-345-3800 and let us schedule a vaccination clinic at your place of business today.
Vaccine Information Statements (VISs) are information sheets produced by the CDC that explain both the benefits and risks of each vaccine to vaccine recipients. Federal law requires that healthcare staff provide a VIS to a patient, parent, or legal representative before each dose of certain vaccines.
